| Proton announced that the new 2008 Proton GEN 2 in now available in UK showrooms. The 2008 Proton GEN 2 is powered by either a 1.3 liter engine or a 1.6 liter unit with a maximum output of 110 hp and 148 Nm of torque. Both engines have been engineered by Lotus.
